Whew boy!

In just 1 hour and 12 minutes, my new year's resolutions begin.

Fortunately, I am drinking non-alcoholic champagne with the most supportive husband in the world, so that part has been easy thus far.

I have officially automated my finances on ingdirect.com (simply the best online bank around - 1.3% interest rate on all accounts no matter the balance). And, I figured out how I'm going to pay our car insurance in full this January. Our cat just passed away but fortunately we had pet insurance, so we'll be getting back ~ $800 from that.

(On a side note, everyone gave me crap for signing up for the insurance. I paid $7.87 for each cat, and in total for Chester that comes out to be roughly $110.00 total. Obviously, if he would've lived longer we would've paid more, but just the mere fact that we are getting back $800 from the fiasco is pretty extraordinary. The company I went through and will continue to go through even sent us a card when they found out he passed away. And not some generic card - there were 7 or 8 signatures on it that all said something to the fact of, "I'm so sorry that Chester passed away. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers." Um, I didn't even get that from most of my friends and family, so I'd say that they're a good company to work with!)

I'm officially signed up for MA classes this spring. Two classes, which will bring my total MA classes to four. And I'm also getting another endorsement for my teaching certificate so I'll be finished with that this summer (three total classes). The plan is to have the MA completed by next year.

Finally, I'm headed to my primary care doctor to do something about this glorious depressive state I've been living in - UGH!

And, on the last last last final note, I am truly trying to make my hubby happy :) We'll see how that turns out!

Peace to you all and see you on the flip side!

(Did I forget any of my resolutions?) Does anyone have any resolutions they'd like to share!?!

EDIT: Working on the photography club/photography class and the vacations! We're planning to get outta here next New Year's to somewhere really, really warm. Anyone want to join us?!!? :)

  1. Just hang in there! I believe you can keep your resolutions for a year! My resolution is to start exercising regularly. Any way I can. Doesn't matter if it's horseback riding or taking the dog for a walk.
    Drive safely! Good luck!
